Summary of VFM findings from Pakistan
This brief presents summary findings from a value for money (VFM) analysis of DFID support to the humanitarian WASH response to the 2010 Pakistan floods. Specifically, it analyses investments channelled via three non-government organisations (NGOs) working in Sindh Province (Care International, Islamic Relief and Mercy Corps). It also includes an overview of recommendations to improve the programme’s VFM, facilitate VFM analysis and strengthen future programme management. Five key dimensions of VFM were analysed, namely economy, efficiency, cost-efficiency, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
